Dirk Krischenowski
Founder and general manager

Dirk Krischenowski, born in 1965, is a qualified biochemist and economist. He started his professional career in the life sciences industry then progressing through national and international management positions in pharmaceutical companies such as Sanofi-Aventis, Novartis, and Takeda. Apart from jobs in operative and strategic marketing, he was responsible for the development of global e-business solutions. He gathered experience on the service supplier side as head of sales and marketing at Bertelsmann (a media company) and in the development of trailblazing business models for leading European health portals. Since 1999, Dirk Krischenowski has been much in demand as a speaker at international e-business conferences, he is the author of articles and studies on e-business and Internet marketing and is a regular guest speaker at the Institute of Electronic Business (UdK Berlin). In 2005/2006 he has also been a member of the European Commission e-Business W@tch Advisory Board.
It was in 2000 that Dirk Krischenowski developed the idea of a top-level domain .berlin and is thereby practically one of the originators of the city-top-level-domain movement. Since July 2005, as the founder and general manager of dotBERLIN GmbH & Co. KG, he has been driving the strategic alignment of .berlin forwards. dotBERLIN has set itself the goal of introducing the top-level domain .berlin in 2012.
Katrin Ohlmer

Katrin Ohlmer, born in 1969, has a diploma in business administration and economics. Since 1994 she has been working for internationally operating registrars and Internet providers like UUNET and MCI/Worldcom and software manufacturers as product manager, marketing director and spokesperson. Since 2001, Katrin Ohlmer has been working as a consultant providing advice in the area of marketing and communications to software manufacturers and telecommunications companies.
At dotBERLIN, Katrin Ohlmer is responsible for strategic and operative marketing.
Johannes Lenz-Hawliczek

Johannes Lenz-Hawliczek, born in 1959, is an independent PR consultant and journalist. He has been PR manager for pioneering ISP, registrar and one of the earliest denic member TCP/IP GmbH as well as for Primus Telecommunications and Deutsche LandTel. As a journalist he co-authors (with Georg Stanossek) the annual "Dschungelführer", a comprehensive guide through the German telecommunications industry
